Great App I dont make Jedi fight movies but I make action shooters. The Clash works great as gunfire. One question. Could you add maybe exposions and dust flying when a bullet hits a wall. Also blood would be great and maybe a more realistic gun shot

it should be much cheaper and there should be onion skining. on some slides the laser or lightning is not there and i want to put videos on yutube but it does not work. i cant open files. dont buy until there is onion skining

This app would be amzing if it had more effects, like blood. It takes a very long time to effectivily edit a clip. Could it be quicker? This app needs help. Blood would be a good start.

Awesome app. It would be even better if the onion skin layer effect could be added, then this app would be amazing. Also, it would be cool if you were able to select an area of your frame where a lightsaber is casting light, and add the sabers color (transparent of course) to that area to make it look like the light is leaking onto the actors clothing.

Spent 3 hours doing effects. over the process it would not let me save my work and said it couldnt do so and when i rendered it, the effects didnt work and there were white flashes that covered the whole screen everywhere…not to mention that these white flashes can also cause epillepsy attacks….there should be a warning... thats what i get for paying for an overpriced app. buy at your own will…..

I love this app, but the one thing I wish it had were sparks that you could put in if the lightsaber hit a wall or other object.

The masking tool is great, but it really needs rotation so we can mask around curved edges. And also needs better Effects, like textures so if you get hit, there will be a mark on you.

Be very careful. After importing a video and making your changes, the application removes all sound. If you want to have your original videos sound after adding these effects, YOU WONT GET IT. Guys please, let us keep our sound!

I love the product, But I deleted this app accidently. I am now re-downloading it and..... I CANT Cause 1.3.1 is not compatile with Snow Leopard. Please Make it compatible. so i can download it again and not have the watermark... Besides that, I love the product

This is a delightful little tool for mimicking the special effects of Industrial Light and Magic. I’ve had a lot of fun with it. If you want the best video quality, I of course recommend Adobe After Effects, but it’s way more expensive than this app, and you don’t need it unless you’re planning on making a lot of movies that need special effects. Good color, good opacity control, very simple interface. The lightning effect is very amateurish, but you can’t have everything. This program is definitely worth the money. I use After Effects now for all my video editing, but SaberFX is what got me interested in video editing in the first place. You want to do a “Star Wars” fan film? You could do a lot worse for your money. Bravo. Oh, almost forgot. Two more downsides to this app. One, it will shrink the size of your film clip and two, it will erase your soundtrack. You’ll need to use iMovie to add your sound. Still a good beginner’s program.

This is a great little app that does exactly what it says. I’ve had fun taking videos of friends and adding the effects afterwards. Add a few sound effects in Elements or IMovie and you can be the next king of Sci-Fi. Keep up the good work!!
